Chasing DaVinci is a band made up of multi-instrumentalist siblings, Jeddi, Jessi, Sophi and Siah Smith. After winning a national talent contest on CBS, and appearing on Nickelodeon's America's Most Musical Family, they set out to define a sound for their generation.
Their original music has been placed on the Nickelodeon show Are You Afraid of the Dark? and other various films and YouTube channels.
With harmonies that can only be heard in shared DNA, the band merges old school with the sounds of today. They surprise audiences with their performances ranging from the classic hits to modern pop.
When asked about the meaning of the name, they explain...
“Leonardo da Vinci was excellent in art and science; and music uniquely combines both. Our name symbolizes the idea of pursuing excellence in our music. We’re “Chasing da Vinci”.
